Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Health Tree Foundation Charity works in partnership with the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole  NHS  Trust and it’s aim is to ensure that each and every time someone walks through the hospital doors whether for emergency or planned treatment the best available equipment is waiting for them.  As the manager of the ICU this is evident every day at work.  Our patients and loved ones deserve the very best and so when the opportunity became available to raise money for the ICU in which I have worked for the last 30years I found it difficult to say no.

On the ICU we strive to give first class care, treatment  and support at all times to both the patients and their loved ones.   I am proud of the fabulous team which I manage.

So to celebrate working in ICU for the past 30years, along with some NHS colleagues I’ll be taking part in a 10,000ft Tandem Skydive on Sunday 9th August.  It was sold to me as an ‘exhilarating and adrenaline boosting’ challenge so I’ll hold onto that thought  through the nerves!

Thank you for taking time to read this and any donation will be very much appreciated xx
