At approx. 4:30am on Saturday 23rd June 2018, along with a group of friends from the Boldmere Bullets Cycling Collective, I will begin my attempt to ride my bicycle from one side of the country to the other before the sun sets. That is over 200 miles from Minster-on-Sea to Burnham-on-Sea. East coast to West Coast. All in about 16 hours!

We are raising money for Acacia Family Support, a great local charity that supports local families through pre- and post-natal depression (http://www.acacia.org.uk). Since Acacia started 15 years ago it's supported nearly 10000 local mums and families, suffering with post natal depression. What is usually a joyful time of having a baby is marred by the debilitating symptoms of anxiety and depression. Acacia bring practical hands-on help as well as emotional support to local families.

They are a really great charity, and any money we can raise for them, no matter how small, will be very gratefully received.
