Event: Trek India 2019, from 7 November 2019 to 17 November 2019
In memory of John Fry
Our 2019 trekkers are trekking the highest tea plantation in the world; Kolukkumalai, crossing the foothills of the second highest peak in south India. Following the trek, they will spend two days supporting a childrens Hospice.

Story

2019 is  20 years since my dad died and had the support of the hospice. It is also the year that I turn 50, so I wanted to do something to raise money for the hospice in rememberance of him.

In November I am doing a charity trek in Southern India organised by the Hospice. It is a 4 day expedition through the highest tea plantation in the world;Kolukkumalai, crossing the foothills of the second highest peak in South India. We then finish our adventure assisting a project at a children's hospice.

This is a self funded trip therefore all money raised goes directly to the hospice.

About the charity

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need.
