To celebrate Sheffield Haworth's 25th Anniversary, a team
of colleagues from across our global offices are cycling from our headquarters
in London to Paris to raise money for Cancer Research UK. A cause close to many
of our hearts, we are aiming to raise £25,000 - your donations are not only
contributing towards life-saving, pioneering research, they're also fantastic
motivation for our team to power through all the way to the finish line!

Cancer Research UK is the only charity fighting over 200
types of cancer, and the single largest funder of cancer research in the UK. They're
focusing their efforts in four key areas – working to help prevent cancer,
diagnose it earlier, develop new treatments and optimise current treatments by
personalising them and making them even more effective. Their vision is to
bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. In the 1970s, less than a
quarter of people with cancer survived. But over the last 40 years, survival
has doubled – today half will survive. The ambition is to accelerate progress
and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease within the next 20
years. But CRUK can’t achieve this mission alone. They rely on dedicated
scientists, doctors and nurses, and the generosity of supporters across the UK.
