Story

As has become customary each year I like to take on a fundraising challenge, and I'm back with another fundraising effort for my friends at the MS Therapy Centre at Bristol!

As there will be no Black Tie Fundraiser this year, I have decided to go dry from Thursday 3rd January to Thursday 14th February - that's 6 whole weeks..and yes, those of you who know me will know what a challenge that will be for me, the fizz queen! I'm not a runner, or an adrenaline junkie so this is my way of challenging myself!

The event will culminate with a night out (tbc) to celebrate my victory! As always, this is an event I am undertaking in memory of my gorgeous mother who sadly lost her battle with MS in August 2015.

Thanks in advance for everybody's support :)

About the centre:

We support people living with long term chronic neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and stroke recovery. Our purpose built Centre is ideally equipped to help people manage their symptoms through oxygen treatment, neuro-physiotherapy and our fully accredited therapists. Our members enjoy socialising at the Centre, attending quiz nights, bingo or soaking up the sun, when we see it, in the therapy garden. Events like these are invaluable to our members who live with limited mobility. The Centre receives no government or NHS funds and costs in the region of £380,000 to run each year. We are funded by the generousity of fundraisers, charitable trusts, parish councils and small social groups so we really do appreciate all efforts to support us - if you'd like to see how your support helps you can visit us in Bradley Stoke at any time.

About the charity
