In loving memory of our wonderful Husband, Dad and Dar.

In October, Dad took part in the Captain’s Drive In at Burford Golf Club, commencing his year as Club Captain. Dad was very honoured to take on this role and we were all incredibly proud of him. He nominated a charity to support throughout his year and this was Crohn’s & Colitis UK. The reason that this charity meant so much to him is that I personally, suffer from Ulcerative Colitis and the charity has supported me as I have battled with my health over the last 12 years. Dad selecting this charity means so much.

Sadly, Dad died very unexpectedly on 3rd February. Burford Golf Club have insisted that Dad will remain the Club Captain for the year and his events and fundraisers will now go ahead in his memory, raising as much money as possible for his charity. As a family, we are touched that the club will ensure that Dad’s plans will go ahead, with the support of the previous Club Captain, Terry Merriman, Vice Captain Jez Stubbings and my Husband, Daniel.
