Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

After a stem cell transplant to treat Hodgkins Lymphoma, Amy developed PTLD (Post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder), in her stomach which, despite treatment, eventually overwhelmed her body, and heartrendingly stole her from this world.

Amy left behind a beam of positivity and asked to be remembered with a smile.  Amy focused on the happy things in her life - her children, her family, her friends.

Amy wanted to give back to the people who helped her, to repay their kindness, in they best way she could.  She wanted to raise money for the charities that had supported her so they could support other individuals and families in need.  Fate prevented Amy from doing this therefore we hope that the monies raised will allow other families to find the right help and support when they need it the most.

St Ann's Hospice (SAH) need to raise £20,000 every day to continue providing world-class care and support to their patients across Greater Manchester.  SAH treat every one of their patients as an individual by looking after their specific needs.
