For those who don't know me, I have been living with CKD (Chronic kidney disease) for over 21 years. I've had so many ups and downs, including but not limited to 15 years on dialysis, 1 failed transplant and one working transplant (just over 2 years now), a number of strokes, sepsis and a bowel obstruction and perforation.  

During that time Kidney Care UK has supported me and my family in so many ways as well as lots of other families across the UK. All the fundraising done to support this amazing charity goes towards helping kidney patients and their families when they need it the most. 

I've decided for my latest fundraiser I'm going to do a sky dive! I'm not able to do a run, cycle or even a long walk because of my knee at the moment, but a skydive is doable! It's something I've wanted to do for a long time now but not been able to -  but now I can! I've never been in an aeroplane before and for my first time I'll be jumping out!!
