Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. For the past few years I've either been working on the Chichester Half Marathon for Children on the Edge or been pregnant / with a small child attached to me. As Children on the Edge no longer organise the event, and Thea and Miles are old enough to let me escape to run again, I thought it was about time to do the infamous Chi Half and tick it off my list.

I've been umming and ahhing all summer. It's a long way. The furthest I've ever run. And lots of it is uphill. Too much of it really. But who doesn't like a challenge? 

To help me on my way, and spur me on to get up The Trundle and round the 13 mile course, I'm asking for donations for Children on the Edge. I am biased, because I work for them; but they are brilliant. 

Children on the Edge support some of the world's most marginalised children, living in some of the toughest situations. They provide education, support, trauma care, early childhood development to children living in refugee camps and slum communities - building protective, safe spaces for them to thrive. Their work truly is transformational; working with communities and local partners to create change, allowing children to gain some semblance of a childhood back despite living in conditions that wouldn't otherwise allow it.

They spend money where it's needed most and 87p out of every pound donated is spent on supporting children living in some of the worst conditions. I can promise you it's spent well. 

£100 can support a child in a safe space (with education, support, care, fun and play) for a year so a few small donations really will go a long way.
