Redress' work currently covers torture and related crimes in more than 40 countries around the world, with over 100 active cases relating to more than 1200 survivors before national and international courts. Our cases help torture survivors directly; they also lead to changes in laws and policies which contribute to the eradication of torture and our cruel and inhuman treatment.Almost twenty five years on, much has been achieved in our fight against torture. And, we believe that even more can be achieved when forces are joined across countries.
