We help people with mental health problems to have a better life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October this year, I'll be taking part in 'Walk the Talk'  in aid of Mental Health UK.

We'll be trekking 80km over 5 days through jungles, rice paddies and mountains, in extremely hot, humid and basic conditions. It's going to be physically and mentally tough, but I hope that by embarking on this challenge I can help raise funds and awareness for MHUK.

With a history of mental health issues in my family, and having personally experienced difficulties when my Mum was diagnosed with Leukaemia, this cause is very close to my heart.

Every single penny that is donated for this challenge will go to Mental Health UK, Lloyds Banking groups charity partner.

MHUK brings together 4 charities across the UK, providing support for people struggling with mental health issues and for friends and family who are affected by mental illness. Your donation will continue to help fund local services, directly helping thousands of people a year. Funds raised in 2019 will help launch a new programme to tackle mental health challenges in young people across the UK.
