We rehome commercial laying hens to make a difference to hen welfare

Story

Inspired by my own ex-cage chickens, my aim is to raise money and much needed awareness to help ex-working chickens have a long and happy retirement.

We rescued our first 2 girls, Batman and Jeph, in June 2017. They brought so much joy to our lives that we have continued to increase our chicken family. We rescued Eric in September, who is very protective over his ladies. Then in December we got Hendy Testeburger and Mrs Jelly Head from BHWT.  They have all become very confident happy chickens

I am amazed with the work the BHWT do to help chickens find new homes, giving them a second chance at life. I wanted to do something to help, so I signed up to take part in the Brighton Marathon. This is my first marathon.

Thank you for taking time to read my story and please support me and help the BHWT to continue their amazing work in rescuing and re-homing chickens.
