In memory of Steve Prescott
We support 2 great causes to help injured RL players and beat cancer!

Story

It's quite simple guys, Steve was a warrior of his time and an inspiration to many people including myself. I had the privilege to train with Steve on numerous occasions whilst I was an Academy player at Saints when he was an established first team regular. Most other first team players at that time did not really engage with the young 'wanna be's' like me but Steve had loads of time for the young lads, passing on advise and putting us through our paces.

As most of us know during his illness he completed a variety of physical challenges which many people who are 100% fit would not even consider, so my attempt to complete the Tough Mudder challenge in August is a personal test which I hope will then lead to me completing other challenges and simultaneously raise money for this and other very worthy causes.

Times are hard and it seems everyone is raising money, so I would appreciate any amount you can spare.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
