We provide a lifetime of care and support to the UK Armed Forces and their families
Story
While cycling near Sacquenay in France, I came across the immaculate Commonwealth War Graves for 4 members of the crew of a crashed Halifax bomber who died on 15/16 July 1943. It is poignantly the 75 anniversary of their deaths, centenary of the RAF, centenary of their Squadron 158. And of course the centenary of the end of the First World War. This fund raising effort is in the memory of the pilot Robert Deans and his crew. "If I should die, think only this of me; that there's some corner of a foreign field that is forever England.."
We are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.
