Once again I come cap in hand begging for your hard earned cash. Bliss work tirelessly supporting parents of premature babies. As you will probably be aware myself and Sarah lost our son Freddie after he was born prematurely. In memory of our little boy and to support Bliss in all they do myself, Andrew Curran, Andrew Charlton and Michael Curran will be completing a 24 peak in 24 hour challenge in the lake district on the 1st July 2017.
The route is split into 2 stages and will cover the following peaks:
Stage 1:
High Rise, Thunacar Knot, Pavey Ark, Harrison Stickle, Loft Crag, Pike of Stickle, Rosset Pike, Esk Pike, Bowfell, Crinkle Craggs, Great Knott and Pike of Blisco.
Stage 2
White Stones, Stybarrow Dodd, Raise, Whiteside, Lower Man, Helvellyn, Nethermost Pike, High Crag, Dollywagon Pike, Fairfield, Hart Crag, Dove Crag.
Its not a route for the faint hearted (Pavey Ark and Helvellyn are both classed as grade 1 scrambles)
Hopefully the weather will be kind and we will comeback in one piece.
If you could donate anything, no matter how small that would be awesome and go a long way to supporting the work that Bliss do and offing that continued support to parents in a time of great need.
