Story
Until just over 2 years ago, the longest I had ever run was 1/3 mile. Since then I started to run 5K regularly and in the first lockdown managed 10K a few times.
I've decided to undertake the Copper Trail challenge in Cornwall, running from the North to South coasts. The official distance is just under 12 miles, but I hope to add on an extra 1.5 miles to make it a half-marathon.
Not only will this be a trail run, I will be doing it in February, a month not generally considered ideal for running, let alone long(ish) distance over moorland.
Our charities are in need of even more sponsorship than ever, and this is true for a charity very close to my heart - the Rowcroft Hospice.
Please sponsor me for undertaking this challenge.
If the run is cancelled due to COVID (or the weather) I will run the same course as soon as possible after the date.
