Story

I'm joining Kevin Sinfield and completing my own 7 in 7 challenge. My name is Andy May and I'm 57 years old, I've been running all distances for over 20 years. In 2021 my nephew Ben Geeson passed away after a 4 year battle with MND, since then I've run various events to raise money and awareness of MND. Last year I ran the South Downs Way 100 mile race raising around £3000 for MND. Earlier this year I entered the Rob Burrows marathon in Leeds on May 14th 2023, I've decided to up the challenge by running from my home near Bristol to the Headingly stadium in Leeds. I will start on Sunday 7th May and over the next 7 days will run around 30 miles a day arriving in Leeds on the 13th May and then run the marathon on Sunday 14th May, in total over the 8 days I hope to run around 240 miles.

Any donations you can give will make a huge difference for people living with MND and their families, this is a cause very close to myself and all my family. Thanks so much for visiting my page and for your fantastic support. Keep on running.
