The MPS Society provides specialist support to children, adults and families in the UK who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal storage diseases and we fund research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions with no cure.

Story

End of season music on the beach in support of the MPS Society - a rare illness that local boy Corey Jeffery is fighting.

Mucopolysaccharide and related Lysomal Storage Diseases are individually rare; cumulatively affecting 1:25,000 live births. One baby born every eight days will be diagnosed with an MPS or related disease. These multi-organ storage diseases cause progressive physical disability and, in many cases, severe degenerative mental deterioration resulting in death in childhood.

More information on MPS will be available on the night.

Please bring yer change and chuck it in the bucket!!
