Thames Path Challenge 2021 · 11 September 2021 to 12 September 2021 ·

We are Ovarian Cancer Action. 🩵 As the UK's leading ovarian cancer research charity, we’re working to change that. By finding new and better ways to prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, we will ensure a future where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.

Story

On the 28th September 1995 our Mum Hazel lost her battle with ovarian cancer aged just 52.

Originally planned for September 2020 I will now be undertaking the Thames Path Challenge with my sister Jayne over the weekend of 11th and 12th September 2021. The 100 km walk starts from Putney and finishes in Henley-on-Thames and apart from rest stops along the way there will be no sleep until we complete the walk!

We are undertaking this challenge to honour the memory of our Mum, to raise money to fund research into ovarian cancer and to raise awareness of the disease.

Thank you for visiting my page and for your support.
