This is an update and a massive thank you for all your good wishes at the idea of me doing a tandem  parachute jump.

The successful  jump took place on Monday the 17th April.

Plane climbed to approx 14,000 feet well above the clouds into bright sunshine and blue sky,we had a period of free fall, speed 120 mph for just over 30 seconds, then main chute opened and we floated through some cloud, did some figure of eight ,plus a couple of 360 degrees over Morecambe Bay, before achieving a perfect landing much to Geri's relief.

Thought I was being a bit ambitious with a target of £500 for The East Africa  Crisis Appeal,very pleased to announce to date money raised through Just Giving is £240 and  money passed on directly to myself £210 giving a total of £450 .(gift aid still to be added)
