I am canoeing 10km with my fantastic canoe buddy 'Ana' and alongside 45 or so other colleagues round the Olympic challenge route.  For those of you who know me well...I am moderately running fit but canoeing is not a typical sport I participate in...in fact the last time I tried it I almost got divorced, following a difference of opinion with the hubby on how to paddle... :) 

In all seriousness though, take a moment to reflect on whether you might be able to spare a small donation...the Diana Award do such great work in support, guidance, development and encouragement of young people.  Giving a little of my time to support such a great cause, sharing a Canoe with an amazing younger person - Ana - who I have personally been inspired by and encouraged in her early career, where I have gained as much if not more than I have invested.  Do not under-estimate the impact you can have just by giving a little of your time. 

I also hope the sun will shine, we will not sink and there may be a beer or two with Barclays team who are participating or supporting at the end...
