Story
On the 5th January 2019 I will be running the Polar Night Half Marathon in Tromsø, Norway over 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle in dark and freezing conditions to raise much needed funds for Hope House Hospices an incredible charity local to me. .
About Hope House Hospices
Hope House Children's Hospices provide care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.
A range of services is offered, including respite and end-of-life care at the hospices and/or within the family home, and support such as counselling, advocacy and the promotion of children, young people's and carers' rights.
Children, young people and family members are welcomed into a friendly, homely environment, with the child or young person at the centre. The support offered includes physical, psychological and spiritual care from a team including experienced doctors, nurses and other care professionals. Support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Hope House
Hospices
must raise over £6.3 million every year to maintain their services and receive just one month's funding from statutory bodies, so every penny raised from my Polar Night Half Marathon is of vital importance.

Please support my ludicrous attempt to complete this race and raise much needed funds for a great cause! All donations no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
Just to note all costs of this trip and event have been covered by myself so every donation will go straight to Hope House Hospices and help to provide vital services and support!
Thank you in advance :)
