Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Back in 2017, our daughter arrived twelve weeks prematurely and was cared for on the neonatal unit at the William Harvey Hospital.
Memories of our experience in NICU will always remain. The time Amber spent there was tough and we were fortunate to bring her home after twelve weeks. The team on the unit were absolutely amazing throughout and we will be forever grateful for the care they gave to us all.
I’ll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 9th October and I’d love to support the neonatal unit by raising funds for the Tiny Toes campaign.
The Neonatal Unit
The unit at the William Harvey Hospital is a specialist intensive care unit with 25 cots. They provide intensive care for newborn babies from across the region.
How does Tiny Toes help?
So far, the campaign has helped provide:
- extra support with patient care and other services
- state of the art equipment and additional equipment not available through NHS funding
- enhancements to the environment for babies, parents, staff and visitors.
Any donations will enable Tiny Toes to continue their brilliant work and will be very gratefully received.
