This month I will be taking part in the Run 50 Miles in January Challenge.

I am doing this not only to improve my physical health but also to hopefully raise some money for the charity Children on The Edge. 

Children on the Edge works with over 15,000 of the world’s most marginalised children to realise their human rights.  

The charity focuses on children who are pushed to the edge of their society and overlooked by governments, larger agencies and the international media. 

One current project that Children on the Edge is facilitating is providing early years education to Congolese refugee children in Uganda, ensuing they have the best possible start in Life. 

This dedication is now growing further, to help some of the most shunned and marginalised children in India. With the right support to access education and develop community activism, Dalit children can realise their rights, grow in self worth and begin to break the cycle of discrimination. 

I am not a runner at all so this is going to be a huge challenge for me.
