Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am aiming to run/cycle 500km in the next two months for HART wildlife rescue. I am doing it for my Silver DofE and I am aiming to raise £500, £65 would fund the rearing of a Tawny Owl chick whose been separated from it's family - providing food and shelter, for the six months before it's release. Just £35 would be enough to cover the expense of rearing one infant hedgehog - for formula milk and medication. £10 is enough money to pay for food for 12 ducklings for a month.

I have chosen this charity because I am passionate about helping the wildlife. Since the start of lockdown, charities such as HART wildlife are really struggling. The demand on them remain the same but people's priorities have been elsewhere during these difficult COVID times. HART wildlife deal with over 3,000 wildlife casualties every year, this is increasing annually. They rely purely on donations and do not receive any statutory funding.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated :)
