Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This is the 4 year the Spinathon event has been held raising money for 2 charities: Headway and Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the event is in memory of 3 young people who died tragically young: Alex, Catherine and Christopher This year we are looking to gain 2 world records: 1. Largest number of people indoor cycling over a 12 hour event 2. Furthest distance travelled during static cycling in a 12 hour period The event will be launched by a member of the British Olympic Cycling team.

I took part in this event last year for 4 hours as part of a team. I was so taken with the event and knowing Bobby (spinning/pilates instructor) whose family know what it is to lose someone through brain injury now raises money for Headway and Cystic fibrosis inspired me to spin again this year but this time doing the full 12 hours solo.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you x
