Running was a big part of my life when I was younger, either on the track or cross-country. These days i am more likely to be out walking or riding a bike, certainly not running. Havens Hospice helped our family when we needed them and this our chance to say thank you and give something back, please help us if you can. I'm taking part in the Festive 5k for Havens Hospices. When an adult or child has been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition, Havens Hospices can provide the care they need, 'Making every day count.' The need for our hospice care never stops, so neither can our fundraising. Because of the Coronavirus we have cancelled or postponed all our public fundraising events like Run Santa Run, and our income is falling just as demand for our specialist care is increasing. Every pound raised this year means more than ever after a difficult year of fundraising and will help us continue to be there for everyone in our care, wherever and whenever they need us during the festive period.
