Story

Alright folks, how goes it? If you're here then you're probably already thinking about sponsoring me, so cheers for at least considering it, if you want to donate as well then that would be just dandy :-D.

If you don't already know what I'm doing, I'm taking part in this year's Survival of the Fittest event in Cardiff, which is essentially a 10k assault course. Yep. I think I may be a bit mad. Happily I believe there will be paramedics present along the course in case I do actually collapse :-).

Seriously though, I've been training for this, and if you know me then you'll know I'm not the most athletic person in the world. It's not going to be easy for me (or anyone else for that matter), but I'll be running it for a good cause, which will hopefully help on the inspiration front. The charity I'll be giving all donations to is the Alzheimer's Society (www.alzheimer's.org.uk if you want to find out more).

If you can afford to give (anything upwards of 2p would be nice), then please do. I might also give you a nudge in the direction of my friend Luke Milward's page, he's running the same event for Cancer Research, just in case you're feeling particularly generous ;-)

Ta very much, end of essay. xxxxxxxxxxx
