On 2nd January 2015 I lost my Dad, Dale Yarrow to Mesothelioma, a disease which took his life in a very short time. I would like to raise the money so research can be done so diagnosis can be found earlier and better ways for treatment can be discovered. It left us with no quality time for us to spend with him and want to give others a better chance at having a longer life once diagnosed. On average it is expected that once found a patients life expectancy is around 8-14 months with 10% of those living for 5 years, it took a matter of a few weeks to take my Dad. Early diagnosis can change the life expectancy of a patient and offers other avenues for them, sadly it was too late in our case. Help me raise funds so we can find other ways of combating this harsh disease.
