Story
You may know that I have been on a bit of a health kick this past year losing 5 and a half stone so far......... but one of the main reasons I did it wasn't just my physical health but my mental health. In the past I have struggled with depression and my mental health at times has been crippling.... and it may well be again. But through support and learning to see triggers and coping mechanisms I'm stronger. It took me until my mid-30s to learn this. I want to help provide services that help others to deal with mental health challenges when they occur.
Last year I couldn't run 50 yards......and now. I will be running not one but two half marathons. The Causeway Coast half Marathon on 25th September and the Wild Atlantic Way Half Marathon in Donegal on 25 October.
