Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

If you are involved in an accident or health emergency, it’s comforting to know there is a service that can get you to hospital or get a doctor out to you in just minutes – and without running the risk of a traffic jam.

That’s why APS is delighted to announce that we are now actively fundraising for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, a rapid-response emergency service which attends four missions every single day, from road traffic collisions to house fires, fallen horse riders to industrial accidents.

But providing this kind of service costs money and each flight costs up to £1400. That’s why we are initially looking to raise enough for one flight.

Much of our business involves the performance car sector, and we regularly attend events where vehicles are being driven at high speed. Of course accidents can and do happen and as WNAA say, speed is vital when it comes to emergency situations. Receiving rapid and appropriate medical attention is paramount, and can mean the difference between life and death in some cases.

The WNAA's state-of-the-art ‘Agusta ‘helicopter can be in the air in just 45 seconds from the time of an emergency call. With a topspeed of 200mph it is the fastest civilian helicopter available, and can be anywhere in Warwickshire in 9 minutes and anywhere in Northamptonshire in 15 minutes. Their average response time is just six minutes.

Please donate today and help APS to raise £1400 for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service!
