Trailwalker Relay 2020
Campaign by Oxfam GB (RCN 202918)
The Trailwalker Relay is a challenge for teams to walk 100km collectively, splitting up the distance between their team members and completing it in the space of a week. This event supports the work of both Oxfam GB and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.

Story

Due to the COVID pandemic, the annual Oxfam 100km footrace across the South Downs way has been cancelled. In light of this, members of Headquarters Army Recruiting and Initial Training Command (ARITC) and Recruiting Group (Capita) will be completing a 100km relay run and ascend the height of Everest on a stair climber in teams of 5 on 2nd Oct 2020. This will see individuals cover 20km of running and nearly 1700m of climbing in a single day. This will be done for two great causes; Oxfam GB and The Gurkha Welfare Trust; both key facilitators in the annual Trailwalker challenge, and both are charities that are close to our hearts.

We would love it if you were able to donate something to support our efforts. 100% of the donations will go straight to Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
