David loved Watershed! When I was asked to be on the board, I said, “We’d love to” When asked, who is we? My reaction was: Oh, you are going to want my husband way more than me. His skills with fundraising, publishing, writing, and so much more in this area are over the top! One month before we were slated to join the board he sadly passed away.  He would have been so proud of Watersheds accomplishments!!

Watershed's programs offer a powerful combination of time, space, and community that have changed artists lives and work for more than 30 years. The time is now for essential facility upgrades to address a host of limitations including lack of full accessibility or security, and no weatherization. As the cornerstone of the Watershed NOW capital campaign, the new Windgate Studio will transform Watershed's ability to meet the needs of artists and nurture creative practice. The 7,500 sq. ft. studio will offer artists a state-of-the art space that will support an expanded residency and workshop season and increase our ability to partner with colleges, schools, and other regional organizations. Generous donors have helped get this project underway, but we still need help to fully fund this transformative space. Every gift matters and will be recognized on our studio donor wall.
