Story

Welcome to the Croydon to Arnhem Bike-Ride 2017 page.

This event is in its 10th year and involves a group of police officers (plus a few friends) from Croydon (which is twinned with Arnhem) cycling from Croydon Town Hall to Arnhem in the Netherlands.

This year's route is 200 miles from Croydon via Harwich, an overnight ferry to Hook of Holland and then on to Arnhem; all in just two days.

As always we're hoping to raise lots of money for Marie Curie, as well as honour the WWII veterans that took part in the conflict in and around Arnhem at the annual memorial service to commemorate the famous Operation Market Garden.

A list of runners, riders and support crew is below (in no particular order):

George Shannon, Laura Kentfield, Andy Kemp, Martin Feehan, Ryszard Kolendo, Adam French, Rosy Gladstone, Mel Bedford, Hayden Skilton, Natasha McKenna, Gabi Desouza, Gerrie Elfrink, Nick Billing and Julie McGee.
