My story is for my uncle, having received devastating news he had motor neurone disease it left our small family shocked and upset for him. After having saved many lives himself as a fire officer, with a commendation from the Queen, and then helping in the coast guard service he is now  suffering this terrible disease.  As a response, and not living near enough to him  I wanted to help in some way. Through my profession as an artist I hoped that I could raise funds from my already established art auction.  I have been running my art auction for some years I now want to give the proceeds to this  charity.

I am a full time artist and I want to help in any way I can. Raising money with my artwork gives me a great feeling, I hope you can help by placing a donation. All of the money goes to the Motor Neurone Disease Association to help with the much needed funding.

For the July auction I am offering an original sketch done in pen and watercolour titled 'Summer Feeling Sketch' . Donate the highest amount and it will be sent to you. You are welcome to donate any amount you wish, whether or not you would like to win the painting. See the photos for the May auction and previous auctions.

I want to raise a a much as I can each month which will go towards my goal of £3,200. This sum will buy a light writer for someone such as my uncle who suffers from  MND. A light writer helps sufferers communicate with their loved ones.
