I have chosen the British Heart Foundation as my charity as their name has been frequent whilst I was growing up for the research the foundation could offer in relation to heart surgery. My late father was in and out of hospital with heart related issues from when I was 10 up until his sad passing nearly 3 years ago so the connection to this charity was an obvious one for me to run with (excuse the pun!)

My dad did many charity related events during his younger years and sadly I haven’t achieved anything of the sorts so in an attempt to make him proud I’m making my first attempt a pretty good one!
