We provide vital care and support to people living with a progressive illness

Story

Associated British Ports (ABP) is delighted to be
working with other local businesses to support St Elizabeth Hospice with the
Elmer’s Big Parade in Suffolk.

St Elizabeth Hospice touches many hearts and is a charity
that is meaningful to people right across our business. Elmer’s Big Parade
Suffolk provides a fantastic opportunity to get involved in local fundraising
and having fun at the same time as really making an impact – not only for
charity but also for our business, helping us to better engage with local
communities. We thoroughly enjoyed sponsoring Ipswich Blue and being part of
Pigs Gone Wild in previous years. We find that these trails are a way to be
part of something really special in our town.

Together with our colleagues, customers and stakeholders
we have a busy programme of events planned for 2018/19 and are looking forward an interesting 18 months ahead.

About the charity

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.
