Story
A bunch of wobbly hockey players, all ages men and women, have agreed to come out of (or in some cases, speed up) hockey retirement to raise funds in aid of one of our university players who is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.
The aim is to play in a 24 hour mixed hockey match (12 hours for Australian-based players and then 12 hours for UK-based players).
The event is planned to take place on Saturday 26th October (location tbc) and we would be delighted if you could make a donation. We are supporting two cancer charities Pancreatic Cancer UK and MacMillan Cancer Support. If you are in the area at the time (especially if you are a physiotherapist) you are welcome to come and watch, support, bandage and massage the team.
