Story

Hi i'm Spencer AKA Badjokjes gaming on YouTube/twitter and i was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of 15 after 6 months of intolerable pain that left me bed bound at an age where i should have been out playing football or going out with my mates.

Ever since then this disease has affected me on an almost daily basis where during a flare up i need Usain Bolt level of speed to get to the nearest toilet wherever i am which leads to me not wanting to leave the house as i get severely anxious if i don't know exactly where the toilets are if I'm leaving the house so a social life is out of the question during these times which leads to depression.

Even out side of a flare up it still affects me as any slight stomach pain sets my mind racing and worrying that the flare up is coming back and as well its so far prevented me from doing any kind of exercise routine.

That last part leads me to why im doing this walk, I'm approaching my 30th birthday in jully (EEEK) so i want to start proving that after having Crohn's for half my life that it cant stop me from doing the things i want to do in life.

Right now, over 300,000 people in the UK are living with Chrons Disease so any funds we can raise to help research new medicines would be amazing to help make peoples lives just a little bit easier,

Thank you for reading this any donations are amazingly appreciated, you can find out more about the work Crohn's and Colitis Uk do by following this link https://crohnsandcolitis.org.uk/about-us

Many Thanks

Spencer Taylor
