Each & every one of us in 'BAM4MS-UK' may have our own reasons for taking part in the 5k 'Color Run Birmingham 2015' but we all have one thing in common Multiple Sclerosis (MS) We either have MS individually or know someone that has it!

It was my idea (Vix) to take part n this challenge, after organising & participating in a sponsored firewalk in 2011 I have been wanting to challenge myself again.

With the colour run being around the same time as my 5yr anniversary for my MS diagnosis I thought this would be the perfect event to celebrate, raise vital funds for a charity I believe in & push me self to complete the 5km by any means (BAM) possible with a great group of friends all helping each other out!

This is our way of making a contribution & to say thank you to MS-UK for their help & support over the last 5 years.

The Color Run, the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’, is a unique run that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community. All about having the time of your life, The Color Run is a 5k untimed run in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre. The fun doesn’t stop there – we all celebrate your colourful awesomeness at the gigantic ‘Color Festival,’ jamming to DJs and throwing even more colour! Trust us, it’s the best post-5k party on the planet!
