A sponsored walk for the all the family, join us for a five mile (10,000 steps) walk through wild and beautiful Barrosa Heath, to raise much needed funds for Surrey Heath Age Concern, a local charity for local people.

Story

We have been forced to close our Rainbow Cafe in Albert Road, Camberley Town Centre, due to the COVID-19 restrictions for much of the last year. The cafe is a lifeline and meeting place for our clients and visitors, it is also an important source of income for our charity, through fundraising events and its closure has resulted in a significant reduction in our income. You can help us! Join us on our sponsored walk to raise much needed funds to enable us to continue, develop and improve the services we provide within Surrey Heath. Walkers are encouraged to either setup their own just giving pages to collect sponsorship, or if you prefer to donate through our page. The five mile (10,000 steps) walk through the undulating woodland and wild heathland areas, part of the Thames Basin Heath Special Protection Area, will give participants the opportunity to see the historic Wish Stream, (part of the Surrey-Berkshire county border). Walk on Kings Ride, used by King George III as a short cut
