As Confirmation candidates and leaders we
have challenged ourselves to make more time for silence and reflection in Lent.
Throughout the program we have frequently discussed the impact reflection,
silence and prayer can have on our lives. Especially as we prepare to
contribute towards todays noisy busy world, silence can offer a clarity that
supports us in receiving the truthful messages about us.  So as we prepare ourselves for the Sacrament
of Confirmation we have decided to make Million Minuets the charity we give
service to as part of the Confirmation program. Each member of our group has
chosen a unique challenge in order to develop towards the best version of
themselves. Similarly, we encourage our parish community, friends and families
to find a way to reduce noise and invite silence into their lives.
