So what turned out as a joke on The Pad-Hoc podcast somehow quickly evolved into a fundraising commitment. Lawrence said he has a head shaped like ET which is why he keeps his hair so big, but vowed to shave it all off if it would raise a substantial amount of money for Prostate Cancer UK.

The original amount he suggested was £500, but seeing as 2020 has hit not only our personal lives but multiple industries including charities, we thought we'd aim a little higher to do our bit. So Nate and I will also shave our beards off if we hit £1000. (And thanks to Admiral Buzzkill and a strong donation to kick things off, we've now agreed to also shave our legs at £1500).

UPDATE: The original deadline was the day after the Abu Dhabi GP, but we did say who knows what we could convince Barretto to do if we quickly exceed the target... Now he's committed to shaving it all off in Abu Dhabi and doing the final race day bald, if we hit the new target of £3,000 by the day before.

And if all three of us looking extremely weird over Christmas isn't an incentive for you, then just know your money will be funding research to stop prostate cancer being a killer.
