Story

This virtual event is for Barrow Runners members (adults and juniors) and friends to show their solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

We are raising money for the Disaster Emergency Committee appeal to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

One long weekend: two big targets

Over the Queen's Jubilee bank holiday weekend (Thursday 02 June - Sunday 05 June) we are attempting to:

  1. Collectively run as a Club the 1,493 miles from Barrow to Kyiv
  2. Raise £1,493 to match it
