BLCC's 12 hour continuous cycle - for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

BLCC Cycling is raising money for Disasters Emergency Committee

BLCC 12 hour continuous turbo - for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal · 24 March 2022

More than 10 million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they need shelter, food and water. Donate now.

Story

BLCC will be attempting to run 2 turbos (stationary bikes)  continuously for 12 hours - from 8am til 8pm on Thursday 24th of March outside Mile End Library.

We have all been shocked and appalled by the events that have unfolded since 24th of February in Ukraine. We will be trying to clock up as many turbo miles as possible over 12 hours to show our support and to raise money for DEC - the Disasters Emergency Committee. This is a consortium of charities such as Save the Children, Oxfam and the Red Cross aiming to provide humanitarian relief in Ukraine.

Riding on a turbo isn't easy - it's hard, sweaty and boring. But for those taking part, that's the point. Please consider donating to our fundraiser.
