Myself and several other directors will be completing a Beach Clean Challenge that will see us litter pick 7 beaches across 2 days along the Durham coastal footpath.

In total, the team will walk over 11 miles and aim to collect at least 100 bin bags worth of rubbish which is almost as big as a concrete mixer truck and enough to to fill around 50 bathtubs!

The beaches we will be visiting are: Seaham Hall, Red Acre, Blast, Easington Colliery, Horden, Blackhall and Crimdon.

Mates in Mind has been Bunzl Greenhams charity partner since
2019. They are a UK charity raising awareness and addressing the stigma of poor mental health. They promote and lead on the development of positive mental wellbeing within the workplace. Mates in Mind works across industries, focusing on construction, as well as related sectors including transport, logistics, manufacturing, and others.
