Story
On the 27th and 28th September several of the Bunzl Team Safety Board of Directors will be completing a Beach Clean Challenge that will see them litter pick 7 beaches across 2 days along the Durham coastal footpath.
In total, the team will walk over 11 miles and aim to collect at least 100 bin bags worth of rubbish which is almost as big as a concrete mixer truck and enough to to fill around 50 bathtubs!
The beaches they will be visiting are: Seaham Hall, Red Acre, Blast, Easington Colliery, Horden, Blackhall and Crimdon.

The Board have chosen to support 4 charities: Mates in Mind, Samaritans, British Heart Foundation and Maggies. You can find out a bit more about why we are supporting these 4 charities on the individual team member pages.
All Bunzl employees can take one day’s paid leave for voluntary work to support a cause of their choice. Therefore, the Board are doing this to not only raise money for their four chosen charities, but to encourage other Bunzl employees to take up this opportunity.
I hope you will help us wish the Bunzl Team Safety Board of Directors good luck in this challenge by donating to any of the four great causes they have chosen to raise money for.
