Jess Welburn and myself (TEAM Bend It Like Biondi) have decided to swim 22 miles (the equivalent of the channel) to raise money for Diabetes UK.

I currently work on a diabetes trial and I've learnt a lot about how difficult life actually is when you have diabetes. This spurred me on to take on the challenge.

We will update the page with how it's going, how much we smell of chlorine and how much of the pool we've ingested.
