I am so excited to be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon, on 14th October 2018, for SPEAR! This is a charity, that I wholeheartedly support, for the work the coaches do, to transform the lives of young people (and who I am privileged to see on a regular basis when they come into our café). 

Its an incredible transformation that I get to see happening week by week, and its quite amazing and uplifting to watch them as they blossom into young, highly capable adults. 

Spear is a year long programme that equips 16 - 24 year olds not in education, employment or training  (NEET) from disadvantaged backgrounds to find long term employment. Spear coaches young people to help overcome the attitude and behaviours that are holding them back, as well as training in how to write a CV, mock interview practice, and in so many skills that will stay with them, for the rest of their lives.
