Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page for the ‘Belles Sahara Trek’. We are four friends taking part in an epic trek over four days  across the Sahara Desert In March 2023. This is to raise vital funds for Weldmar HospiceCare. We are taking on the challenge  in memory of our best friend Shell who sadly died of a Brain Tumour ages 41. The team is made up of Lisa Lawrence, Kelly Wood, Alison Theobald and Joanne  Farmer.

Weldmar Hospicecare is a Dorset charity providing specialist end of life care with dedicated team of nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers and counsellors, only 21% of there funds are provided by the NHS – the rest is raised by the charity and the local community. 

Shell benefited from end of life care and support services  which enabled her to stay at home with her family as long as possible and this is our chance to take on the challenge and give something back.
